Asian NIR Consortium (ANC) wasestablished as a consensus among participants fromChina, Japan, Korea and Thailand in June 2006. Oneof specific missions of the consortium is to promotetransferring of knowledge and know-how on NIRSamong Asian countries and arrange the Asian NIRSsymposium every two years. This year 2010, Asia NIRsymposium was held at Shanghai, China from October16 - 18. Totally, there were 223 attendants from 10countries.
